Fujian Putian LNG Generation Project

The Fujian Putian LNG Power Plant is a grid-connected natural gas-based combined cycle gas turbine power plant with a total installed capacity of 1,528 MW located in Putian city, Fujian Province. Connected to the East China Power Grid (ECPG), the project consists of four generating blocks, utilizing natural gas imported from the Indonesian Tangguh Gas Field. With no other start-up or auxiliary fuels, the plant supplies strong and stable electricity to support the Fujian power grid and provides peak regulation functions. The annual output is expected to reach 6,112 GWh, mitigating power shortages and balancing peak loads. As a clean fuel project, it reduces greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional thermal power plants, contributing to environmental sustainability in the ECPG.
