Located on the Chorokhi river, in Batumi city of Georgia, the aim of the project is to generate electricity by the efficient utilization of the available hydro energy by project activity replace the grid electricity, which is constituted of different fuel sources, mainly fossil fuels. The electricity produced by project activity result in emission reduction. Thus, the project has a significant contribution to climate protection and to sustainable development in the region.
