The purpose of this project activity is to generate renewable energy coming from wind resources, in order to sell it to Mexican partners willing to consume this sort of energy. With this aim, the project activity will reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emission by avoiding electricity generation otherwise produced at fossil-fuel fired power plants, and thus CO2 emissions associated to it. In addition to the reduction in GHG emissions that the project activity would carry, other environmental and social benefits have been detected.
